Note for Simon Fans: Quietly there has not been a lot of perceptible movement on the girlfriend front. This may be connected by the decidedly retro nature of Simon's taste in music, (see above), cars etc. We don't know, we can only speculate. However, it is entirely possible he has a whole bunch of nice girls up in Christchurch who are into '70s rock and red Capris, and he's just keeping it quiet, as a gentleman should.
